Shortly after 6 AM, the race began with a prologue – a short run on the trail to the amphitheater to retrieve the bike front wheel (turned in before the race), which had the instructions for the first 2 legs.

Biking/Runing Each 4-person team had two bikes for this leg – two rode and two ran.

| KayakingThe paddling itself was rather straightforward. However, transporting the kayaks from the TA to the boat ramp (approx. 1 mile away) wasn't an easy task. |

Scootering An out-and-back ride on the park road. It was quite fun of riding the scooters downhill. (The rear brake on my scooter wasn't working at all. Good thing that I couldn't descend like a daredevil. LOL!) Not quite so when we pushed them uphill on the way back.

(R) After the paddling, we had to drag the kayaks back to the TA – uphill again!! Another trekking afterwards, with only 40-50 minutes left before the cut-off time, we only headed to the nearest 3 CPs, came back and completed the special test to finish. Total time: 12 hours, 21 min.
